Thumbs Up Johnnie owns The Longhorn Diner, where all the cowboys and "cowgirlies" gather for the best flapjacks in Happy, Texas. Thumbs Up Johnnie always has his "hands full" flippin' those flapjacks, pourin' milk and coffee, or as he likes to call it "a cup of "joe!"

Michelle and Johnnie have been traveling the country spreading the word about reading. At the school events, Michelle Bain talks to kindergarten through fifth grade groups about what it is like to be an author and producing animation! From journaling to the creative writing process Michelle & Johnnie teach kiddos about the importance of writing a good story and more importantly the necessity of editing and rewrites! But the most important aspect of the author visit is the story time where Michelle reads one of The Adventures of Thumbs Up Johnnie Series books and mascot Johnnie acts out the story right by her side!
The twosome still has open dates in April, May & June for a special program at your children's school! They are currently booked across the US for school programs and Character Camps but have dates available for the special program. So pass this on to your children's school, librarians, PTO groups or any teachers you may know!

I asked the same thing since it doesn't say that you receive a free book when you sign up but she said that everyone will receive a free book for signing up and they were already packing mine - although I didn't tell them I signed up! You should receive the next fan club e-mail that goes out and your book soon. I'll check in with them again tomorrow to see how things are going!

If you signed up prior to April 1st you will get the free book in the mail and should get it in the next 2 to 3 weeks.
