Six Flags St. Louis is hosting its third annual Salute to Heroes on July 1 – 4, honoring the men and women serving our country with free admission to the theme park.

This means that Active Military Personnel and Reservists will receive a complimentary admission ticket to Six Flags St. Louis on July 1 – 4 with valid military ID. A $31.99 discount is available to Military families with valid military IDs, or up to four guests accompanying the Active Military personnel at the Six Flags Main Gate.

Additionally, the general public can purchase these discounted tickets online at sixflags.com by using the code “HERO12.” For each ticket purchased at the $31.99 rate, Six Flags will donate $3 to Operation Homefront.

Salute to Heroes gives park guests a glimpse into Military life with special Military displays and vehicles including a Forward Operating Base, fire truck, D7 dozer and vibratory roller. Operation Homefront will also have a booth set up where guests can create and send their own care packages to deployed soldiers.

The Army’s 94th Engineer Battalion from Fort Leonard Wood, at the invitation of Operation Homefront of Missouri, will be in the park demonstrating their capabilities and equipment during Salute to Heroes.

They have announced that they are canceling the fireworks display.

After careful consideration and discussions with the Eureka FPD, we have made the decision to cancel the fireworks planned for Six Flags St. Louis on July 1st and July 4th. We apologize for the inconvenience, but given the extremely dry conditions, this is the right decision to ensure the safety and well being of our guests, employees and community.
