Hare in the Air Egg Hunt

Hare in the Air returns to Logan University on Saturday, March 24, 2018! The event is free to the community and includes egg hunts for children ages 2-8 as well as fun activities for the whole family.
Registration is in person at the event and begins at 9:00am.
The bunny arrives by helicopter at 9:30am.

About the Hunt
The hunts will be divided into age groups of 2, 3, 4-5 and 6-8.
Parents will not be allowed inside the hunt area.

Visitors get things rolling on The Magic House’s front lawn for the annual Egg Roll. In the great tradition of the White House, The Magic House, with its own replica Oval Office located in the Museum’s Star-Spangled Center, is inviting children to roll up their sleeves and participate in an egg-citing race as they use large spoons to roll their eggs across the finish line. Plus, families will have the opportunity to meet a very special guest – the Easter Bunny!

Des Peres UNDERWATER EGG HUNT
Join us for a unique egg hunt in our indoor pool! Grab your swimsuit and goggles and get ready to hunt underwater for eggs. Participants will have the opportunity to win awesome prizes and candy. Price includes admission for the registered participant to the Open Swim with Waves session, 4 – 7:30 p.m. on the event night. Proper swim attire is required for participants. Des Peres GET HOPPING EGG HUNT
Hop on over to Des Peres Park for our annual youth egg hunt! Children, ages 3 – 6 years old, will be able to participate in the big scramble. Our special guest will be the Easter Bunny, so be sure to stop by, rain or shine, with your basket in hand. Bring your camera to snap a picture with the Easter Bunny. This event is presented with the help of Boy Scout Troop 313 and the sponsorship of Great Southern Bank. This event is free and reservations are not required. Ferguson Community Center Children’s Easter Egg Hunt
Hop over to the Ferguson Community Center for our annual Egg Hunt. The back field will be filled with brightly colored filled eggs for children (8 and under) to enjoy. The children will be divided into separate hunts by the following ages: 3 – 4, 5 – 6, 7 – 8. The Easter Bunny will be on hand for photo opportunities. Children should meet at the Ferguson Community Center with their own basket.

Who says egg hunts are only for children?!?! Bring your flashlight and join us on March 24th at Arnold City Park for our annual Adult Egg Hunt! Using elbows are fair game during this egg hunt. And, heck, temper tantrums may not be off limits either. This event starts at 7pm for folks 21 and over. Enjoy a hot catered dinner, thousands of dollars in prizes, raffles, and a fun night out!

“Egg Hunts” for the Animals
Everybody likes a food treat, and Saint Louis Zoo animals are no exception! The Zoo’s enrichment team has planned special “egg hunts” for animals. Visitors can also meet keepers at Keeper Chats.
Kids’ enrichment activities will be offered from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Schnuck Family Plaza.
Keepers, curators and volunteers plan animal enrichment activities for Zoo animals throughout the year. Enrichment makes life more interesting for the animals. They are encouraged to forage for food, invent “toys” out of everyday items, explore with new exhibit “furniture” such as logs and vines, or even sniff new scents. Enrichment activities are fun for the animals, the visitors and the keepers.

Kiddie Egg Hunt
This egg-citing egg hunt takes place on the Main Show Field. Admission to the egg hunt includes an activity area featuring photos with the Easter Bunny, face painting, a bubble machine, bounce houses and carnival games.
The egg hunt will be divided among three different age groups: ages 2 and under, ages 3-5 and ages 6 -10. Each age group will have its own special area for collecting eggs. Every child must be registered ahead of time in order to participate. Adults accompanying children are admitted at no charge.
Space is limited. Children should bring their own baskets to collect the eggs, which are filled with a variety of goodies from candy to toys to stickers. Walk-ups will not be accepted on the day of the egg hunt! Please note dogs may not participate with children during the Kiddie Egg Hunts, but can watch on the sidelines with their owner.

Doggie Egg Hunt
A unique egg hunt will be offered for dogs and their owners! Dogs will search for 10 eggs, each marked with a number, and then turn them in to see if they are prize winners! Other activities include an obstacle course, doggie games and vendors selling unique pet items. All dogs must be pre-registered in order to participate. Adults and children accompanying their dogs are admitted at no charge. Dog owners should bring their own basket to collect the eggs. Dogs must be well-behaved and on a 4-6ft leash at all times, be up-to-date on all vaccinations and have a visible rabies ID tag. No retractable leashes. Puppies must be 4 months or older to participate.
Join BablerWiLD and the Outdoor Education Center for the 4th annual GPS Egg Hunt in Babler State Park! No previous experience is necessary as BablerWiLD will provide one hand held GPS unit per family along with all the instructions you will need to start finding eggs. Want to use your own equipment? No problem! We will supply you with all the coordinates for the hidden eggs for you to use with your own GPS system. There will be tons of prizes to give away and even more fun to be had. This program fills up fast so be sure to sign up early to secure your spot! Bring out the whole family to Babler State Park and go on an egg hunt you will never forget!

Kimmswick Annual Easter Egg Hunt

Every year on Palm Sunday Kimmswick is host to hundreds of children for the annual Easter Egg Hunt.
Thousands of eggs are donated by Kimmswick Merchants filled with candy and prize certificates then hidden in the field by the Apple Butter Pavillion. Children are divided into groups depending on their age. The Easter Egg Hunt is open to children 8 years and under.
After the egg hunt, all the children go from shop to shop collecting their prizes. There is even a visit from the Easter Bunny as he hops around town handing out eggs for the adults.
So grab your Easter Basket and spend the day in Kimmswick with your family. You never know who you will see hopping around.
