To help raise awareness about fire safety, the St. Louis Fire Department, Schnucks and Energizer are teaming up to host a community event to promote fire safety awareness and encourage residents to change their smoke detectors batteries when they change their clocks on daylight saving time. The partnership is part of Energizer’s annual Change Your Clock Change Your Battery program.
The fire safety awareness event on Saturday, November 1, from 12:00-3:00 p.m. at Schnucks, 5055 Arsenal, will include an appearance from and photo ops with the infamous Energizer Bunny, a safe house simulator, appearances from local firefighters, a fire truck, fire safety demonstrations, fun Energizer giveaways, family-friendly activities and educational materials.
The event will provide a fun environment for families and individuals to learn how they can take simple, preventative steps to protect their loved ones and homes.
