“Egg Hunts” for the Animals
Everybody likes a food treat, and Saint Louis Zoo animals are no exception! The Zoo’s enrichment team has planned special “egg hunts” for animals. Visitors can also meet keepers at Keeper Chats.
Kids’ enrichment activities will be offered from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Schnuck Family Plaza.
Keepers, curators and volunteers plan animal enrichment activities for Zoo animals throughout the year. Enrichment makes life more interesting for the animals. They are encouraged to forage for food, invent “toys” out of everyday items, explore with new exhibit “furniture” such as logs and vines, or even sniff new scents. Enrichment activities are fun for the animals, the visitors and the keepers.

Kiddie Egg Hunt
This egg-citing egg hunt takes place on the Main Show Field. Admission to the egg hunt includes an activity area featuring photos with the Easter Bunny, face painting, a bubble machine, bounce houses and carnival games.
The egg hunt will be divided among three different age groups: ages 2 and under, ages 3-5 and ages 6 -10. Each age group will have its own special area for collecting eggs. Every child must be registered ahead of time in order to participate. Adults accompanying children are admitted at no charge.
Space is limited. Children should bring their own baskets to collect the eggs, which are filled with a variety of goodies from candy to toys to stickers. Walk-ups will not be accepted on the day of the egg hunt! Please note dogs may not participate with children during the Kiddie Egg Hunts, but can watch on the sidelines with their owner.

Doggie Egg Hunt
A unique egg hunt will be offered for dogs and their owners! Dogs will search for 10 eggs, each marked with a number, and then turn them in to see if they are prize winners! Other activities include an obstacle course, doggie games and vendors selling unique pet items. All dogs must be pre-registered in order to participate. Adults and children accompanying their dogs are admitted at no charge. Dog owners should bring their own basket to collect the eggs. Dogs must be well-behaved and on a 4-6ft leash at all times, be up-to-date on all vaccinations and have a visible rabies ID tag. No retractable leashes. Puppies must be 4 months or older to participate.
Parkway/Rockwood WiLD Family Fun: GPS Egg Hunt
Join BablerWiLD and the Outdoor Education Center for the 4th annual GPS Egg Hunt in Babler State Park! No previous experience is necessary as BablerWiLD will provide one hand held GPS unit per family along with all the instructions you will need to start finding eggs. Want to use your own equipment? No problem! We will supply you with all the coordinates for the hidden eggs for you to use with your own GPS system. There will be tons of prizes to give away and even more fun to be had. Kimmswick Annual Easter Egg Hunt

Every year on Palm Sunday Kimmswick is host to hundreds of children for the annual Easter Egg Hunt.
Thousands of eggs are donated by Kimmswick Merchants filled with candy and prize certificates then hidden in the field by the Apple Butter Pavillion. Children are divided into groups depending on their age. The Easter Egg Hunt is open to children 8 years and under.
