Beginning March 20th, 2014, the price of an Amazon Prime Membership will increase from $79 per year to $99. The price for the student version of Prime will also rise to $49.
That means you have 7 days to get your Prime membership at the lower rate (which will be locked in for a year).
The site is stating the rise in fuel costs for the rate increase.
Amazon Prime Membership offers:
-FREE Two-Day Shipping on millions of items
-No minimum order size
-Unlimited instant streaming of thousands of movies and TV shows with Prime Instant Video
-A Kindle book to borrow for free each month from the Kindle Owners’ Lending Library
Prime is a must have for me throughout the year (especially during birthday and holiday months). I think it’s well worth the cost since I do a lot of my shopping on Amazon. If you do too – I would cash in now before the price increases.
