Last Day – Amazon Prime Price Increases March 20th

The links in the post below may be affiliate links. Read the Full Disclosure

March 19, 2014 by Kim Julian

CaptureBeginning March 20th, 2014, the price of an Amazon Prime Membership will increase from $79 per year to $99. The price for the student version of Prime will also rise to $49.

That means you have 7 days to get your Prime membership at the lower rate (which will be locked in for a year).

The site is stating the rise in fuel costs for the rate increase.

Amazon Prime Membership offers:

-FREE Two-Day Shipping on millions of items
-No minimum order size
-Unlimited instant streaming of thousands of movies and TV shows with Prime Instant Video
-A Kindle book to borrow for free each month from the Kindle Owners’ Lending Library

Prime is a must have for me throughout the year (especially during birthday and holiday months). I think it’s well worth the cost since I do a lot of my shopping on Amazon. If you do too – I would cash in now before the price increases.
