Mid Rivers Mall, St. Clair Square, South County Center and West County Center are hosting sensory-friendly visits with the Easter Bunny exclusively for families of children with special needs. This very special event takes place on Sunday March 18 from 9:00 -11:00 am, before the malls open their doors to the public.
Here are the details:
Kids within every spectrum of special needs and their families are invited to experience the tradition of a visit with the Easter Bunny. To make this time especially calming, the mall lights will be dimmed and the background music will be turned off.
“We are excited to be partnering with Autism Speaks to help us plan this special time,” says Sean Philips, CBL Properties marketing director. “It is important that all kids have an opportunity to visit the Easter Bunny, especially children who may not be comfortable in the traditional mall environment.”
Visits with the Easter Bunny during this event are free. Keepsake Easter Bunny photo packages will be available for purchase. Space is limited, and families are encouraged to reserve their complementary ticket in advance on EventBrite (one ticket per group/family).
