Snow Cream Recipe

December 16, 2019 by Kim Julian

Snow is here, so you may want to make Snow Cream! It’s so easy to make and a fun activity to do with the kids.

All you need is:

1 cup Milk

1/3 cup Granulated Sugar

1 tsp. Vanilla Extract

8 cups Snow

Directions:

1. Mix the Milk, Granulated Sugar and Vanilla Extract together in a bowl.
2. Add the Snow and mix the contents together while you’re adding the snow
3. If your mixture seems to runny you may want to add more snow based on the texture of the snow
4. Optional – add food coloring or sprinkles

*You will need to serve this quickly because it will melt.

Some also add salt – but I’ve never noticed a difference in the taste so if you feel that it needs something more you can add a pinch of salt to the recipe.

We put bowls out to gather the snow before the snow starts – but you can also do this while it’s snowing.
