From the Ameren Missouri Coronavirus Income Relief Website.
At Ameren Missouri, customers are at the center of everything we do. That’s especially true now, as we all work together to protect ourselves and our loved ones from the spread of COVID-19, the coronavirus. As communities across Missouri increase efforts to safeguard everyone’s health, we realize that some of those efforts may create financial hardships for you or your family.
We’ve partnered with the United Way of Greater St. Louis to create the Coronavirus Income Relief Program that will offer $500,000 in energy assistance funds to customers experiencing financial hardships caused by the coronavirus response. If your hours have already been reduced, you have been laid off, or you face lost wages in the coming weeks, we encourage you to read about the Coronavirus Income Relief Program below and submit an application to the United Way at 211helps.org/AmerenRelief.
If you aren’t eligible for the Coronavirus Income Relief Program, we have other resources that can help you. Ameren Missouri is increasing its commitment to Heat Up Missouri, under its Energy Outreach Program, for a total of $500,000 to further support existing energy assistance programs for seniors, physically disabled and income-eligible customers. You can find more information about this and other energy assistance programs below. Visit HeatupMissouri.org or HeatupStLouis.org, or call the Heat Up Crisis Hotline at 314-241-0001 or 314-657-1599.
We are here to help you during these extraordinary times. Below, we’ve gathered answers to commonly asked questions about available resources and their contact information.
